Before we measure up
How long does a new driveway take?
It depends on the size, access, surface and ground underneath. We set out the likely programme after the site visit, before work starts.
Do I need planning permission?
Many replacement drives do not, but rules can apply where water runs onto the road or a property is listed or in a conservation area. We discuss this at the visit.
What about drainage and SuDS?
Water needs somewhere suitable to go. We look at levels, existing drains and permeable options, then include the agreed drainage work in the quote.
What happens if it rains?
Some stages can continue in light rain and others cannot. We protect open work and only lay materials when the conditions suit the surface.
How do I maintain the driveway?
Maintenance varies by surface. We explain cleaning, jointing and sealing where relevant when the job is finished.
What are the payment stages?
The payment schedule is written into the quote before work starts, so the dates and amounts are clear.
